July 21st marks the opening of registration for a new enrollment period of the CESA - Sprott School of Business International MBA. Registration will be open until October 10, 2014 and classes will start on January 22, 2015.
The International MBA, an in-depth program with an important research ingredient in different subjects of the global environment, is lead by a group of professionals from the five continents, with extensive experience in the corporate world and a solid academic training - most are P.h.D.’s.
Composed by business and international relations disciplines, the MBA proposes a pedagogic, current and active strategy, that allows students to build their own training path. Moreover, it offers a multidisciplinary vision of globalization’s challenges, in international and local aspects.
Aiming to train executives with decision-making skills in a global context, the two-year joint-degree MBA includes an internship in Canada, during which students will take one course and go to corporate visits.
The CESA - Sprott international MBA’s structure, goes beyond the traditional frame of masters programs offered in Colombia: there will be one annual enrollment period, classes are on campus every three weeks thursday to saturday, 60% of classes are taught in english, and more than 70% of professors are international.
Students are officially enrolled in both CESA School of Business and Sprott School of Business from the beginning of the program, which allows access to both institution’s professors and available resources, such as databases and research areas. Carleton University's Sprott School of Business, is an institution that counts with the international AACSB accreditation, the most important recognition for business schools.
